Pre-storage tuber treatment with the fungicide pencycuron 250 FS did not affect tuber infection with black scurf (Rhizoctonia solani). Tuber seed treatment in field trials (in Poland) caused a decrease of potato plant emergence rate (by 6-10 days) compared to untreated control. Delayed potato plant emergence on plots with fungicide pencycuron 250 FS did not affect further development of plants and size and structure of tuber yield. The results of carried out studies revealed a significant decrease of stem and tuber infection by rhizoctonia on the plots with
pencycuron 250 FS treatment.
